Paige - Wannabe Abrecrombie!

Just Paige

This is Paige. She's 14, in 8th grade, 5'10" and a typical teen. Well, maybe not a typical teen, as she has overcome a bit of adversity to accomplish what she has in her young life so far. Paige was diagnosed at age 14 with Type 1 Diabetes. Now, aside from thinking she is destined to be with Nick Jonas because he suffers from this disease as well, it has been a tough couple of years for her - giving herself 5 shots a day and controlling her blood sugars with her diet. But through this, she has remained focused on her goals. She recently got accepted in the Health Science Specialty Center for high school, maintains a 4.3 gpa in all honors, participated in her first pageant, and most recently made the JV cheerleading squad for the 2009-2010 school year. That, and just 3 weeks ago getting her braces off, she would tell you are the most exciting things that have happened to her! But Paige wants more...she wants to model and be successful at it! One thing she is not - is an under-achiever! So even though most of the monthly winners have been those adorable little ones, we are hoping that winning model of the month, may open some doors for Paige to achieve one more stepping stone!
