Hie ,my name is Pauline, i have uploaded a photo of my daughter but i was just wondering if there is any fee for the monthly competition. Again we are very far in Kenya so i dont know how much as an upcoming model she will benefit from this site. Lastly what is the criteria of evaluation for the monthly competition.

HI Cassie, I luv your message .. you are very articulate young lady. Getting to the next level in modeling is having the right information of what you need to do to get there! That is why we published Let's Model with all of our advice from agents, photographers and most important the Top Models .. and they tell you themselves what they did to get to the top... some share how they thought they would never be a model or win a Miss Usa pageant, or were shy or awkward.. It is about wanting it and taking the right steps to get to where you want to be.

There are no "picture perfect models" :) they work at it, work on great skin, perfect smile, the right attitude - and learn all they can about the modeling industry! I can't tell you how many girls and boys we see who keep trying and trying and learning along the way!

How do you become a picture-perfect model?

Hi, my name's Cassie, I'm thirteen years old and live in Texas. All my life, people have been telling me I should get into the modeling business. But until just recently, it seemed like that was just one of those things: you know, the things you fantasize about but never really take into consideration. Then I actually met someone who was a teen model, and I realize that I want to do modeling almost as much as I've ever wanted anything in my life. When I was three years old, I discovered my love for acting, at six I knew I was destined for writing, nine I revealed my hidden talent of helping others with their problems. After that,I thought my huge epiphany-about-purpose-in-life thingies were over. But now I know I want to model.

But how do you go from what I am, just a seemingly regular, pretty much average girl to one of the elite? People look at models, they're perfect, they're gorgeous, they'revibrant, they're strong. How do you become that? How do you get so far? It seems impossible, like it's just one of those things, but now I know it's not. I want to model, I just never knew it until now. There are those whose parents raise them for that future their entire lives. I don't have that luxury, I don't know how to go about doing this. Please help me, guide me step by step. I want this life, I want this future. I want to be picture-perfect.

Casting CAll Hannah Montana Movie Extras

An open casting call for extras will be held on Sunday, April 6 at the Sommet Center, in downtown Nashville. Please bring a recent 4-inch by 6-inch snapshot and a pen. Adults must accompany minor children at the call and during any work. It is not necessary to live in Tennessee, however talent must be visiting or staying in the area during production.

Walt Disney is not only bringing the making of the Hannah Montana movie to Nashville, but it is also looking for local people to take part in the filming.

Extras are needed to be background actors in the motion picture movie starring 15-year-old teen pop sensation Miley Ray Cyrus.

An open casting call will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 6 at the Sommet Center, 501 Broadway, in downtown Nashville.

The background actors — who will have non-speaking parts — could work one day to several weeks, and an average of 12 to 14 hours each day, according to Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures national publicity office.

People who want to be considered must bring a recent 4-inch by 6-inch snapshot and a pen. No photo, no part. Adults must accompany minor children at the call and during any work. No experience is necessary.

Hannah Montana is Disney's hit show about a teen pop singer who moved from Tennessee to Malibu. Williamson County native Miley Ray Cyrus and her father, country singer-songwriter Billy Ray Cyrus, star in the show.

Filming for the Hannah Montana movie begins in and around Nashville on May 6. Details of the locations have not been released.

MODELING

Hi Des, My daughter is 10 years old and has been modeling for 3 years. We had an agent in Atlanta but her contract ran out in March of this year. Really just wanted to wait and see if modeling was what she wanted to do, and she has pretty much proven that she does. So I am on the search on what I should do next? Should I locate her another agent? Or could you suggest and point me in the direction in which we should go. She does very good in front of the camera and loves it.
