Dana Popovich

My name is Dana and I am 10 years old. My passion is art and fashion. I love wearing designer clothes and shoes. I also like making up different outfits with unusual accessories. My friends all call me "Fashion Diva", but I'm really a sweet girl at heart. My big pink bedroom is my special hideout where my imagination comes to life. Me and my friends set up different places to play shopping and designer. I love to get out all my favorite stuff and let my friends use their pretend credit cards to buy things. Then I have a cash register that we ring up the purchases and I give them a reusable shopping bag on the way out. I also love going out shopping with my family, we always manage to have fun! One of the reasons I think I'm so interested in making clothes and finding the right outfit is because I'm so tall. I actually have a hard time finding pants long enough to fit me. I know people think thin girls have it easy, but sometimes it's hard for me. So, I try not to let it bother me when other kids tease me about being so skinny. My mom has to remind me that in the fashion world, I fit right in. My dream is to be a model. I will work hard at learning how to sell their cool clothes and things and will do my best. I can't wait to be around lots of other models who are just as thin as me and nobody is teasing, only clapping and cheering for us because we all look so beautiful!
