Ashley's fun photoshoot with NESOP

Ashley's latest photo shoot was with NESOP (New England School of Photography) in Boston, MA. Ashley loves to model, and if it's for a fashion show, or just for mom while on a family outing, she is always ready with a smile.

Months ago the NESOP had posted a casting opportunity on the N.E Film site. Students that have taken classes at the school would be needing models, and in exchange for their time/talent, the models would receive a CD of the photos taken. We couldn't make the casting, but sent Ashley's photo to the instructor, and received an email from the director accepting her model application. Now.. Fast forward - 4 months later - we received word that they're ready for the 'child models'.

We arrived at the studio to find over 15 skilled photographers, lead by their instructor, and we head outside to the classic views of the Boston streets. Adorned with brownstones, and abutting the Charles River, the 15 photographers had the perfect backdrop for the models, by the way there were only 4 models that attended! The girls ranging in age of 9 to 14 had a blast as the photographers snapped away.

The evening was an amazing opportunity for Ashley, for what aspiring model wouldn't want to have an entourage of photographers following her around Boston, as bystanders gathered to watch the photoshoot.

A few weeks later the CD arrived in the mail as promised, filled with photos from the shoot. Some photos were OK, some good and some great. Ashley J. has been asked back again when the summer photography graduates are ready for field work. Until then, we keep our eyes open for opportunities such as this - because when one door opens it opens an array of possibilities.
